MARRIAGE AND FAMILY MEETINGS

Marriage and family groups play a crucial role in personal, social, and spiritual well-being. They provide a foundation for emotional support, accountability, and shared values.

Marriage and Family meeting

Our meetings help in:

  • Strengthening Marriages
  • Enhancing Family Stability
  • Providing Emotional and Social Support
  • Encouraging Spiritual Growth

PRISON EVANGELISM

The thousands of young Ugandans who are incarcerated are often broken and desperate, “ripe unto harvest”. Many times, they may call out to Jesus in a desire for real change, but do not fully understand what it means to follow Christ. Good Soil Evangelism & Discipleship can help inmates clearly understand, genuinely embrace, and firmly hold on to the gospel.

A team visited a remand home, and 26 juveniles accepted Christ.

Here are some key lessons from this experience:

  • No one is beyond God’s reach—His grace extends to all, regardless of their past.
  • The Gospel brings hope even in difficult circumstances like incarceration.
  • Accepting Christ is just the beginning; these young believers need follow-up, mentorship, and discipleship.

MENTORING FOR PASTORAL FORMATION

Pastoral formation takes place in the early years of ministry. During these first few years of ministry, patterns and ways of being and doing ministry are cut and determined. Without a mentor to help intentionally guide the formation of a pastor, he or she will be “more vulnerable.”

Training of Pastors

Here’s what we do:

  • We help pastors develop a Christ-centered worldview, ensuring doctrinal soundness.
  • We strengthen personal spiritual growth through prayer, study, and devotion.
  • We equip pastors with leadership skills necessary for guiding a congregation.
  • We provide training in preaching, teaching, counseling, and discipleship.
